Subscription and Auto-Renewal Terms
How an auto-ship plan works: what recurs, how often, how much, how it renews, and how to stop it. Cancellation is self-service, takes effect immediately, and costs nothing.

1What an auto-ship plan is
Most of what we sell runs out. An auto-ship plan sends you the same thing on a schedule you choose so that you do not have to remember to reorder it, and it usually costs less than buying the same item one at a time.
A plan renews by itself until you stop it.
2What we tell you before you pay
Before you enter payment details for a plan, we show you all of the following:
- What comes. the item or items in the plan, and how many of each
- How often. how often it ships, for example every 30, 60 or 90 days
- How much. the amount that will be charged each time, including shipping and any tax, and if an introductory price applies, what the price becomes afterwards and when
- That it renews. that the plan continues and charges again on that schedule until you stop it
- How to stop. that you can cancel online at any time, and where to do it
If any of that was not clear to you before you paid, tell us and we will make it right.
3What a plan does not commit you to
There is no minimum term, no minimum number of shipments, no cancellation fee and no notice period. You can stop after the first shipment and owe nothing.
If you started a plan before this document was published, these terms describe your plan too, and they add nothing to it. What you were told at the time was that you could cancel at any time. That was true, it is still true, and nothing in this document narrows it.
If we ever offer a plan that does carry a commitment, for example a discounted plan with a minimum number of shipments, we will say so plainly before you buy it, and it will not be applied to a plan you already have.
4Canceling
Sign in, open the plan, and cancel it. It takes effect immediately: no further charge is taken from that moment.
- No cost to leave. There is no fee and no notice period.
- No gauntlet. You do not have to call anybody, wait for a reply, explain your reasons, or decline an offer on the way out.
- It really stops the charge. Canceling reaches our payment processor as well as our own records, so the recurring charge is genuinely switched off rather than marked as switched off on our side.
- You get proof. You get a confirmation, and you can ask us for a copy later.
If you started a plan without an account, claim the order to your email address and the plan appears in your account. If that does not work for any reason, write to support@nefense.com and we will cancel it for you the same way. Not having an account is never a reason we would keep charging you.
Canceling stops future charges. It does not recall a shipment that is already on its way. If one reaches you after you canceled, the Returns and Refunds Policy says what happens, and the short version is that we refund it.
5Changing a plan instead of canceling
Everything below is done from the same place in your account, and none of it requires you to cancel and start again:
- Frequency. how often the plan ships
- Quantity. how many of an item come each time, or swapping the size
- Address. where it ships to
- Payment method. which card pays for it
- The next date. moving the next shipment earlier or later
A change applies to the next shipment that has not been processed yet. If an order for the current cycle has already been placed, the change lands on the cycle after it, and we tell you which one you are affecting before you confirm.
6Skipping a shipment
If you still have plenty, skip the next shipment. Skipping does not cancel the plan and does not cost anything. You are not charged for the shipment you skipped, and the plan carries on from the following cycle.
Skip before the plan processes for that cycle. Once the order has been placed it is an order like any other, and the Returns and Refunds Policy takes over.
7When you are charged, and what happens if a payment fails
The first charge is taken when you start the plan. After that, each charge is taken when the shipment for that cycle is prepared, at the amount shown on your plan.
If a payment does not go through, nothing ships. We tell you, and we try the same card again a small number of times over the following days, because a decline is very often a temporary thing.
- No penalty. We do not add a fee for a failed payment.
- No debt. We do not ship the order anyway and bill you for it later. A failed payment is not a debt you owe us.
- We pause, we do not escalate. If the retries do not work, we pause the plan and leave it paused. Update the card and it picks up on its normal schedule.
- And eventually we close it. A paused plan that stays unpaid is eventually closed. We tell you when we close it.
8If the price changes
Your plan stays at the price you started it at until we tell you otherwise. We do not charge you a new price and explain afterwards.
If we change the price of a plan you have, we tell you before the new price is charged. We say what the new price is, which shipment it starts with, and the date. That gives you time to change the plan or cancel it, and if you cancel, no charge at the new price is taken.
The same applies to a change in how often the plan ships or what is in it, if we ever have to make one.
9Renewal reminders
A reminder before a renewal tells you, in the message itself and without signing in:
- what is coming and how many
- the date it will ship and the date you will be charged
- the amount, and the card it will be charged to
- a direct link to skip it, change it, or cancel the plan
You do not have to wait for a reminder to check any of that. Your plan in your account shows when the next shipment is due and what it will cost.
10Introductory and promotional prices
If a plan starts at a discounted or introductory price, we tell you what the price becomes when the introductory period ends and the date that happens, before you buy it. A trial or an introductory rate never rolls into a higher price without that having been said up front.
A discount tied to a plan applies while the plan is running. If you cancel, later orders are at the ordinary price, which is the only consequence of canceling.
11Changes to this document
We update this document when what we do changes, when the law changes, or when we find wording that is unclear. Every version is kept, and each one records the date it took effect.
How you find out depends on how much changed. A correction that does not change your rights is simply published. A change that does affect your rights is announced before it takes effect. A change that materially alters what you agreed to is not applied to you by silence: we ask you to accept it, and continuing to browse the site is not treated as acceptance.
If you want a copy of an earlier version, or want to know what changed and when, write to support@nefense.com and we will send it to you.
